Caring for Ourselves and One Another

Sunday Sermon, Nov 7th, 2021

Be a part of our community—fill out this quick survey to let us know how you are able to help (sending a card, making a phone call, or picking up groceries).
This has been a hard year and a half for many of us, for all sorts of reasons. Rev. Karen will speak about the importance of recognizing this pandemic as an experience of trauma and how to take these effects into account in our personal lives. Then Patricia and Verna will introduce our Compassion Bank, one of the ways we care for each other within Saskatoon Unitarians.

Living in Right Relationship

Sunday Sermon, October 24th, 2021

Some years ago, our congregation developed a Covenant of Right Relations—a set of guidelines to help us treat each other with respect and compassion and foster a culture of open communication. As part of the process of revitalizing the Covenant, this morning Ulrich and Kathryn will share some thoughts about the purpose of this document and how to make best use of it.

Climate Action:

Finding Hope in Small Acts

Sunday Sermon, October 31st, 2021

Margret will talk about a number of Saskatchewan projects and initiatives that not only provide models of effective climate action, but also provide hope for the future. The climate crisis can lead us to despair, but reminding ourselves that small steps can lead to big change can help us to focus on the impact each of us can have.
