Looking back, moving forward

Speaker: Rev. Karen Fraser Gitlitz

When we are mulling over our own role in a conflict or painful encounter, it can be difficult to figure out what is ours to do and what is not. Is forgiveness useful? When should we make an apology? This morning we will lean into the practical advice of medieval Jewish philosopher and Rabbi Maimonides, courtesy of Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg’s excellent book, On Repentance and Repair: Making Amends in an Unapologetic World. Everyone will be invited to stay for conversation after the service. A handout will be available for both in person and online attendees.

Join us in person at Saskatoon Unitarians, 213 Second St. E
