The Monument, a staged reading @ Saskatoon Unitarian Centre - Upper hall

Chrysalis Theatre presents a staged reading of The Monument, a play by Colleen Wagner.

Performed by Carol Wylie and Mitchell Larsen and Directed by Louise Seidel

This Governor-General-Award winning play, set in a country torn apart by civil war, examines the complexity of morality and justice and the challenges of working toward reconciliation. A young soldier is convicted of war crimes, while a woman suspects he knows the whereabouts of her missing daughter.

A staged reading is rehearsed and performed with minimal blocking and scripts in hand.

The presentation will be followed by a talk-back session with Rev. Fulgence Ndagijimana, a Burundian refugee and community minister affiliated with Saskatoon Unitarians.

This event is a fund-raiser for the Refugee family of six – sponsored by Saskatoon Unitarians

Tickets: At the door $15, $10 for under-employed  or text 306 380 2759 to reserve tickets
