Have It Your Way: Advance Care and End-of-Life Planning @ Upper hall - Unitarian Centre

You probably already have a good idea of what your wishes would be if you became too ill or injured to speak for yourself.  But do your loved ones know? You probably also have a good of idea of what your end-of-life wishes are, too.  But have you told anyone or written them down somewhere?  You don’t need to be ill or injured to think about your end-of-life care and wishes, in fact it’s best if you’re well.  Join Mary-Anne Parker and Laura McNaughton as they lead you though the process of creating an advance care plan and an end-of-life portfolio.

Facilitators: Mary-Anne Parker is a care aide at Luther care home who works with dementia patients and their families daily.  Laura McNaughton is a lay chaplain and funeral director student.  Both women have trained as death doulas through Douglas College.
RSVP for this free workshop to the Unitarian office, office@ucsaskatoon.org or leave a message with your name & phone 306-653-2402.
