EVENT Cancelled -Exploring Relationship Dynamics: A Couples' Retreat @ Saskatoon Unitarians Centre

THIS EVENT has been cancelled, not enough participants this time –

the Organizing team and the Facilitator will look at hosting again in late fall 2019

Do you and your partner struggle to find the time and energy needed to keep your relationship healthy and vibrant? The demands of modern-day life make it difficult to give our intimate relationships the attention they deserve. As a result, many couples get stuck in unhelpful patterns and feel disconnected from each other, emotionally, physically and sexually.

This workshop provides an opportunity to acquire new insights and skills that will help you reconnect with your partner. Barbara Morrison, a Saskatoon couples therapist, will draw on her many years of experience and deep understanding of relational dynamics to help you become more conscious of your own relationship dynamics and how you can make change. Participants are invited to bring along an attitude of curiosity, playfulness, and humour.

We welcome all couples, straight and queer, offering a safe space for those who identify in the LGBT2SQ+ community. The materials and activities are not faith-based and individuals of all faiths or none are warmly welcomed to attend.

Dates: Friday, Jan 25, 7 to 9:00 pm

Saturday, Jan 26, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

Facilitator: Barbara Morrison, BSW, MSW, RSW ~~  Broadway Counselling & Therapy (www.broadwaytherapy.ca)

Barbara Morrison is a Clinical Social Worker specializing in couples therapy. Keenly interested in relationships, she has 20 years experience assisting couples to grow, both individually and as a couple. Barbara is committed to professional development and has studied with leaders in the fields of couples therapy and mindfulness-based therapy, including David Schnarch, Tara Brach, Esther Perel, Ellyn Bader and Pete Pearson, Sue Johnson, and Terry Real.

PLEASE NOTE: All participants are asked to complete a questionnaire that Barbara will use to design the workshop in order to best meet participants needs. Upon registration, we will send you the questionnaire and you are asked to return it to Barbara as soon as possible. Only Barbara will see your responses and she will hold them in confidence.
